At MegaMac, we're always on the lookout for the latest and greatest in Apple accessories. That's why we're excited to introduce our newest addition: PITAKA.
PITAKA: Background
In the ancient Sanskrit language, PITAKA referred to the basket, symbolising diversification, inclusiveness, and wisdom. PITAKA as a brand aims to inspire simplicity and elegance by delivering fluid, interesting, and sustainable aesthetics of life to modern people. It is a result of a worldwide collaboration among scientists, engineers, designers, and fashion experts.
Let's take a look at the heart of PITAKA's offerings
Iconic Design
At PITAKA they draw an inspiration from art, architecture, and the beauty that surrounds us. For example, the Mosaic Apple Band was inspired by the legendary architect Gaudi and his iconic work Casa Batllo. These remarkable and unique patterns truly set the brand apart from the crowd.
Jacquard & Fusion Weaving Technologies
Fusion Weaving is a unique, advanced technology exclusively owned and developed by PITAKA. It allows coloured fibers to be woven using multiple weaving techniques on a single loom, thus producing multi-styled and multi-coloured aramid fiber cases.
Jacquard weaving, on the other hand, creates unique textures on the front and back, resulting from two layers of aramid fibers intertwining. It reflects the craftsmanship and adds a handmade charm.
First Aramid Fibre In Use
In 2015, PITAKA embarked on a groundbreaking journey in the field of tech accessories. Within six months, they introduced the world's first aramid fiber mobile phone case integrated with magnets. Upon this innovation, PITAKA expanded its product line to include car mounts and wireless chargers, all interconnected through a magnetic attachment system, creating a fluid ecosystem.
